About 1st Drysdale Scouts

1st Drysdale Scout Group was first established in 1959, when Drysdale, Victoria was just a small farming community at the north end of the Bellarine Peninsula.

In the more than 50 years since it was formed, 1st Drysdale has supported well over 1,000 children and their families – largely from Drysdale, Clifton Springs and nearby Curlewis.

1st Drysdale Scouts is a part of Scouts Victoria. We operate in the Geelong Peninsula district which is, in turn, part of the Geelong region of Scouts Victoria.

Under the Group Leadership of Wayne Simpson and the Joey , Cub and Scout leaders, 1st Drysdale operates a full, fun weekly program for

Joeys  Monday  nights 5-6 pm

Cubs  Monday nights   6.30-8 pm

Scouts on Tuesday nights.  6.30-8.30 pm

Scouts can then progress to the District Venturer Unit (15- 17 years), which meets on Tuesday nights at Leopold Scout Hall, and then on to one of the  Rover units (18 – 25 years) in the Geelong region.
