The Cubs and Scouts participated in the ANZAC Day services in Drysdale. Cubs, Scouts and Leaders attended the Service at the Drysdale Primary School before marching in the parade and laying wreaths at the local cenotaph. Happy Fathers Day everyone. During a clean up yesterday, we came across two news articles marking the opening of a new hall for Drysdale Scouts and Guides… way back when in 1961. A nice piece of history.
Last weekend was our annual equipment logging day and quarterly scrap metal collection. What fun! We still can’t get over the amount of scrap metal the people in our area accumulate. This time we managed to fill three giant skips and we tend to do that every quarter. All in a good cause of course.Continue reading “What a lotta stuff!”
