On top of the many badges, Cubs can strive to achieve four important awards:

  • Silver Boomerang Award
  • Gold Boomerang Award
  • The Grey Wolf Award, which is the highest award a Cub can achieve.

Of course, our cub program doesn’t end on Monday nights. Cubs can also participate in a host of special activities that could include biking, hiking, field trips, sleepovers and camping. They also have the chance to participate in community activities, such as Anzac Day and environmental projects.

Highlights for Cubs

When it comes to activities, the highlight for Cubs has got to be Cuboree.

Every three years, Cubs from all over Victoria descend on Gilwell Park in Gembrook to enjoy an amazing five days of fun, friendship and achievement. The last Cuboree is being held on 2-6 October 2017.

Cuboree 9 is themed on ‘1001 Nights’. And living up to the theme, there were many adventures had by the Cubs, Leaders and all the support staff too.. With Genies, evil sorcerers, Alladin and Princess Jasmine being caught in the middle, adventures on the high seas to name just a few.
